Inspired by the legacy of our founder's late younger brother DeAndre, whose loving spirit and phrase “Love You Fool” now fuels our work, The LYF Project is dedicated to equipping young men aged 14-25 with the space, tools, resources, and support they need to thrive.

The Collab Experience 2025

The Collab Experience 2025 is a transformative overnight retreat designed for Black and Brown high school juniors and seniors in the DMV area. This immersive experience fosters personal growth, leadership development, and a sense of community, equipping young men with the skills and mindset needed for success in college and beyond. More than just a retreat, it's a launchpad for life.

Greetings! I am Dawaine Cosey (Cosey) the Founder and Senior Director of Experience and Culture here at The LYF Project, LLC. The LYF Project is not just an organization—it’s a deeply personal mission inspired by my late brother, DeAndre Brockenberry, who embodied love, connection, and joy. His phrase, “Love You Fool,” is now the heartbeat of this initiative, as we strive to honor his legacy by creating transformative opportunities for Black and Brown young men to thrive.
